We have decided to end email service on June 30, 2026.
Please use the information on this page to assist with migrating you old emails to another provider.
Below are some step to accomplish this for Gmail, Yahoo and Outlook.com.
If you decide to use a different email provider than the ones listed here please check with that email provider on steps needed to migrate your email.
- Migrating to Gmail
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click the Settings (gear icon) at the top right and select See all settings.
- Go to the Accounts and Import tab.
- Find the section Import mail and contacts and click Import mail and contacts.
- A pop-up window will appear. Enter your sfcn.org email address and click Continue.
- Enter your password and the IMAP server settings provided above.
- Select the items you want to import and click Start Import.
- Migrating to Yahoo Mail
- Sign in to your Yahoo Mail account.
- Click the Settings icon (gear) and select More Settings.
- Click Mailboxes on the left-hand sidebar.
- Under Add mailbox, click Other.
- Enter your sfcn.org email address and click Next.
- You will be prompted to enter your password and server settings.
- Yahoo will sync the accounts. Once linked, you can either view them separately or move emails between folders within the Yahoo interface.
- Migrating to Outlook.com
- This will require the Outlook Desktop Application.
- Open Outlook Desktop on your PC or Mac.
- Add your old IMAP account: Go to File > Add Account. Enter your sfcn.org email credentials and server details.
- Add your Outlook.com account: Go to File > Add Account again and sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Wait for Sync: Let both accounts fully load all folders.
- Move the Data:
- Right-click on a folder in your old IMAP account.
- Select Copy Folder and choose the destination folder in your Outlook.com account.
- Alternatively, select all emails (Ctrl+A) and drag them into the new inbox.
- Syncing: Outlook will now upload these emails to Microsoft’s servers. Keep the app open until the status bar at the bottom says "All folders are up to date."
