Our vision is to have a site that is informative and continues where the newsletter leaves off. As parent volunteers, we are working together to continue our children’s education outside the classroom. Please consider joining the PTA and volunteering some of your time or skills. Message from 2005-2007 Utah PTA President

The Utah PTA mission statement states Utah PTA will help every child realize his or her full potential. The PTA has the Vision to make this happen, but only with Parent Involvement will every child succeed. We need parents to become involved in their children's lives. They need to "Catch the Vision" of what PTA can and has done to help children and youth succeed. Their first step in becoming involved is by joining PTA... The most important benefit in belonging to their local PTA is the involvement with their child's education. Involved parents understand the challenges schools face and then become part of the solution... PTA provides the best tools for parents to help their children to be successful students. We want our voices heard... everychild. one voice.

Let Your Voice be Heard

How can you let your voice be heard? Join the Spanish Oaks PTA and/or volunteer to help with our school's educational efforts. There are lots of ways you can help:

• help in your child's classroom
• sign up to help run a PTA-sponsored activity, such as book fairs, safety fairs, reflections, etc.
• join the PTA and be a part of your school's future.
